Turning Point's Luke (11/24/03)
(Luke
and his "pet" Cody at left)
Our
then five-year old son, Cody, had been BEGGING for a puppy
for going on three years. Not considering ourselves
"dog people", we resisted until we met Baby Luke and
it was love at first sight (for not only Cody, but the whole
family ... ok, especially me). Thankfully for us, Luke was
a dream puppy and was completely potty trained by 11 weeks
old. Luke is a loving, loyal and active member of the
family and wonderful in a million ways. Luke is a very
social dog as well, and is known for rounding up "doggie
play groups" in the neighborhood. He'll go door to
door, barking for his pals to come out and play! The only
slightly annoying thing about Luke is that he LOVES LOVES LOVES
balls just a bit too much in that he wants us to throw him balls
24x7. We try to give him a "ball fix" at least
an hour or so every day. Luke's good looks and temperament
eventually went on to win him a 2005 Championship conformation
title under the highly competent hands of his professional
handler ... none other than Jan Norton. Jan has been a
wonderful trainer, coach and friend. Luke and Jan have
turned the Halle family into a first-class "dog
loving" family (especially Cody who wears Luke's collar
around when Luke is gone). Thank you Turning Point
Labradors!

Point's "Diesel" (9/11/05)
(Diesel
and his pet "Casey")
Not
to be outdone by her twin brother Cody and, given the FABULOUS
experience we had with Turning Point Labradors, the Halle family
added Baby Diesel to the clan this fall. Diesel is also a
dream puppy and potty trained by 11 weeks. Diesel is our
calm "lover" dog in that he curls up on your laps and
purrs just like a kitty. And just like his mother Haley,
Diesel always needs to carry some treasure around in his
mouth. And his intelligence is second to none (he learned
all of his basic commands by 14 weeks old). We are
THRILLED with Diesel and, again, thrilled with Turning Point
Labradors who consistently breeds top-quality Labrador
Retrievers. Thanks, Jan!

Point's "Seamus" (9/51/03)
As
someone who had an unease of dogs, I was first struck by the
temperament of Jan's Labradors while attending my son's Little
League game. Jan was attending a game and brought one of
her puppies. The dog was so settled and loving and
patiently sitting that I actually started thinking about getting
a dog. My next step was to visit Norton Farm so that I
could see if all of the dogs were so agreeable. After
spending time with all of Jan's dogs, it was clear what
wonderful dogs Jan had and we put down a deposit for her next
litter on the spot!
Our
dog Seamus has been a wonderful addition to the family. He
is loyal and loving and obedient. He is very good with the
three children and watches over them. Our cat had kittens
last September and you would have thought those kittens were his
babies - he nuzzled them when they mewed, he laid next to them
and kept them warm while their mother went for a walk. He
even laid them gently on his chest and bathed them!
He
is the sweetest of pets and is dearly loved by all who meet
him. Our family hightly recommends Turning Point
Labradors.

Turning
Point's "Nyx"
(Amy
and Nyx)
This
is Nyx - an energetic, tennis-ball-crazy, can't-get-enough,
lovable Lab that is from none other than Turning Point
Labradors.
Jen
Norton is a great breeder. She really cares about her dogs
and the puppies that she puts out there. Jan is always
striving to keep the breed pure. I see the careful process
she goes through to pick what dogs will breed to whom.
Then when the puppies are born, Jan is there to make sure they
are right on track with growth and development. Her
involvement with puppies does not end when they go home as she
is always willing to give advice and can make room in Doggie
Daycare when needed.
It
has been such a great experience having one of Jan's dogs.
Nyx has been a wonderful addition to my family.

Point's "Josie" (5/12/04)
We
have enjoyed a wonderful experience with our puppy, Josie, and
Jan Norton. We found out we had a top Lab breeder within a
few miles of our house and we were excited. Josie is an
exceptional dog and has provided us with many hours of
excitement. She is very happy and trains easily. She
is a joy to have in our home and we love her. Jan is very
involved and happy to answer any questions you might have
concerning your puppy. Our future puppies will definitely
be coming from Turning Point Labradors.

Turning
Point's "Angel" (5/12/04)
I
would like to thank Jan Norton for helping us pick out just the
right puppy. Angel is a wonderful, fun loving and obedient
dog. For only a six-month old puppy, she is so easy to
train! She is currently participating in Advanced Dog
Training in preparation for the Obedience Title. She LOVES
to play ball and brings it right back to me. Angel is
going to be a great working dog. Everyone loves her.
I get a lot of comments on how nice and good looking she is.

Point's "Greta" (5/2/04)
Greta
came into our home on June 28, 2004 - and it hasn't been the
same since then! She is WONDERFUL! The joy she
brings my husband and I on a regular basis is amazing. Her
favorite things are car rides, dog day's inn, treats and tummy
rubs. Jan, thank you again for breeding such a great puppy
and allowing us to have her in our lives.

Point's "Libby"
(Libby
and her friends, ALL TPL dogs!)
We
got our first dog, Libby, through Jan Norton as a result of
visiting Norton Farm one summer day with my four children, aged
4 through 12. At that time, we were just starting to think
about adding a dog to the family. Jan and I started
talking after I noticed a dog on the premises that had the best
temperament I had ever seen (6-month old Penny). Seeing
Penny and my kids play together was all it took to seal a
decision that it was the right time to add a dog to the family
and Jan Norton was the breeder of choice. We got Libby
about six months later and couldn't have asked for a better
family dog. Her temperament is exceptional and many people
comment on how calm she is. She has been such a great
addition to the family that we recently invested in our second
Lab from Jan, Riley. Riley is actually Libby's niece and
couldn't be a more perfect puppy. She is sweet and loves
having Libby to play with.
Jan
is such a conscientious breeder that we have recommended her
dogs to many people over the years. Since we first brought
Libby home, several of our neighbors and family have purchased
Labs from Jan Norton. In my extended family alone, we have
five (TPL) dogs, Jake, Libby, Bubba, Riley and Tally (pictured
above).
